Laureate School for the Gifted and Talented is accepting applications for a limited number of highly achieving students to enroll in our program. Read a Letter from the Director.

Eligibility Requirements

Laureate School will be admitting its most promising applicants to its program. The ideal candidate has a proven record of academic excellence and has demonstrated high achievement in areas of personal interest that extend beyond the academic requirements of a school program. Standardized test results, as well as competitions and awards, can be useful in supporting the application. Of key importance will be the recommendations of parents, teachers and mentors who have worked closely with the candidate and can attest to his or her giftedness.

Each candidate will be required to submit an application, which will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Our Admissions Committee carefully examines the profile of each candidate to ensure a successful match between the student and the Laureate School program. The review process typically takes two weeks. Notifications are sent out as soon as a decision is made.

Tuition Information

Laureate School offers enrollment for an all-inclusive tuition fee as follows:

$12,000 per year (two semesters) includes:

• Up to 6 full-year courses (equivalent to 60 credits) with personalized teacher service and curriculum materials
• Laureate Symposium (5 credits)
• Laureate Project (5 credits)
• Elective and PE Portfolios as required or desired
• Core Teacher services for the full year
• CollegeKey college placement counseling services for the full year
• Learning Style Profile consultation with Learning Success coach
• Personal Laureate Advisor

$6,300 for one semester includes:

• Up to 6 semester courses (equivalent to 30 credits) with personalized teacher service and curriculum materials
• Laureate Symposium (2.5 credits)
• Laureate Project (2.5 credits)
• Elective and PE Portfolios as required or desired
• Core Teacher services for one semester
• CollegeKey college placement counseling services for one semester
• Learning Style Profile consultation with Learning Success coach
• Personal Laureate Advisor
• Additional full-year course with teacher service: $1,600
• Additional semester course with teacher service: $800

Note: The tuition fees do not include shipping costs and sales taxes for California residents. Materials for customized courses not utilizing standard Laureate School curriculum are usually not included.
